Help Keep Los Gatos Safe

In partnership with our community, the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department has successfully offered the On Watch program for over a decade. On Watch allows our community to register home and business cameras via our secure online portal. This option does not allow real time integration, rather allows investigators to know where cameras are located, and collaborate with the camera owners for footage should they be seeking information regarding an incident that took place in the area. Through the On Watch program, camera owners have captured and provided critical images for proven and successful crime mitigation. On Watch is now moving to Community Protecht but the same standard of privacy and security still stands.

Expanding upon On Watch, our community is invited to integrate any compatible security camera for real time assistance in emergency situations. The Community Protecht program is a completely voluntary opportunity for residents and businesses to enhance services and protection during emergency situations only. Using a small CORE device plugged into cameras of the owner's choice, live feed from the cameras can be directly linked to the Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Department Dispatch Center as they respond to an emergency call for service at the location of, or adjacent to the location of the camera.
